These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Uniq (“Uniq”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) governing your access to and use of the website at uniq.dev (the “Site”) and the waitlist for the Uniq application. By using the Site or joining the waitlist, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. The service

Uniq is a native macOS database client for MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, and SQLite currently in development. The Site is a pre-launch page that describes the product and lets you join a waitlist to be notified when it becomes available. The application itself is not yet generally available, and features described on the Site may change, be delayed, or not ship.

2. The waitlist

Joining the waitlist lets us contact you about Uniq, including its availability, early access, and related product updates. Joining does not guarantee access to the product, a specific position, or any particular timeline. You can ask us to remove you from the waitlist at any time by contacting [email protected].

3. Pricing

Any prices shown on the Site (including the early-access price of 49.99€ and the full price of 99.99€) are indicative, refer to a one-time licence for the macOS application, and exclude any cloud features, which will be priced separately. Prices are pre-launch, may change before licences become available, and do not constitute an offer to sell. No purchase can be made through the Site at this time.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to disrupt it, access it through automated means beyond ordinary browsing, submit false or someone else’s information, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

5. Intellectual property

The Site and its content, including the Uniq name, logo, text, and design, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without our prior written permission.

6. Disclaimers

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, and any forward-looking statements about the product are not guarantees.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Uniq will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or the waitlist. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, and any disputes relating to them or to the Site are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Portugal, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
